Drum n Bass: What do you think?
I have a few questions here and please answer them if you can as I would actually like to know. This is your chance to share your opinions on drum n bass. The aim of these questions is for you to interact with me on the genre and also for me to find out a few things I may not know. Here it goes then . . .
1. In your opinion has drum n bass taken a turn for the good since the arrival of the genre nearly two decades ago? why?
2. Most music genres generally have stereotypical listeners. Do you think youd be able to spot a junglist? (someone who is a huge fan of dnb) What do you think theyd look like if you couldnt spot them?
3. When do you think listening to drum n bass is most appropriate? i.e at a club, at the beach, family function etc
4. Do you sense a different style in the drum n bass made in NZ compared to European drum n bass acts?
If any one was wondering what the differences between old school drum n bass(jungle) and the new era of drum n bass sounds like I have uploaded a few links for you to listen to.

Hey
cool topic
1 I think Drum and Bass has improved over the 20 years, but it improved more quickly over the 1st 10-15 years. Recently it doesn’t seem as inventive as it used to.
2 No chance… Only people I can tell like a certain genre of music are metal fans and country fans.
3 I think the best time is at a club, it has a driving energy which is best in a group. I also like it when I’m driving, especially late at night.
4 Id say there probably are, but Im not really that aware of the various artists and their styles.
Like the site too man
